Emma & Tom’s celebration was the ultimate Modern Noosa Wedding Inspiration. Noosa was an easy choice of destination after years of family holidays in this idyllic coastal town. After taking a postponement in their stride, they pulled off an epic celebration with their nearest and dearest one warm March morning.
Their guests made their way to a Aussie bush oasis for their ceremony on a private property in the Noosa hinterland. Resourceful and tenacious bride Emma really wanted the best of both worlds that Noosa has to offer; bush land and crystal water. The answer was sourcing a stunning private property nestled among the trees for their ceremony. We took photos in the same location as the ceremony, saving time and allowing for connection with their guests.
Firstly, guests held space for Emma and Tom to express their vows and honour each other. Then everyone enjoyed cocktails from a caravan bar. We took photos among the gum trees, popped some champagne then headed back to Noosa for a long lunch at Ricky’s. Guests were treated to a soundscape of live Spanish Flamenco music while enjoying heartfelt speeches, delicious meals and dancing.
Tom led Emma onto the dancefloor and a casual first dance to Brown Eyed Girl signaled the end of the “formalities”. Emma threw the bouquet, changed into a party dress and then it was time to dance! To round out the day, the spectacular Catalina arrived to take everyone for a sunset cruise along the Noosa river.
As a result of having a mid-morning ceremony, Emma and Tom maximized the time they spent with their guests. Their long lunch was full of laughter and connection, and then they partied into the night. Their intentional decision to create a full day of celebrations had a great payoff.
